Privacy Policy

How EventIQ handles personal information when you visit our website, contact our team or use our event platform.

Last updated:

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

EventIQ Teknoloji A.Ş., based in İstanbul, Türkiye, provides software for event experiences and event business operations. We are responsible for personal information collected through our website and our own business communications.

This policy explains those activities and how they relate to customer event data. Specific service agreements and event organiser notices provide additional information for individual services and events.

2. Information we collect

When you request a demo or contact us, you provide your name, work email, company, optional phone number and the content of your message. We also receive information you share in follow-up conversations or support requests.

Website systems and analytics tools may collect IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, interactions and cookie identifiers. We store your cookie choices in your browser. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information in a general enquiry.

3. How and why we use information

We use enquiry details to respond, arrange relevant demonstrations, discuss services and provide support. Technical information helps us operate the website, understand its use and prevent abuse, including repeated form submissions.

Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing relies on steps towards a contract or its performance, legal obligations, establishing or protecting rights, legitimate interests balanced against your rights, or consent where required. Optional marketing tracking is activated through your cookie choice.

4. Information managed by event organisers

Customers may use EventIQ to manage registrations, RSVPs, tickets, attendee communications and event operations. The organiser generally decides which attendee information is collected and why; EventIQ processes that information on the organiser’s behalf under the service agreement.

For questions about an event registration or requests concerning your attendee data, contact the organiser named on the event page or registration confirmation. You can also contact us to help identify the appropriate team.

5. Cookies and tracking

On eventiq.com.tr, Google Analytics is currently enabled by default to measure website use. The cookie panel keeps necessary and analytics categories on; it lets you choose whether to enable marketing tracking, including the LinkedIn Insight Tag. Your choice is saved in browser local storage.

Use Cookie preferences in the footer or below to review your marketing choice. Changing that choice does not automatically remove cookies already stored or undo data already sent. You can delete or block cookies in your browser; this may affect website functionality.

6. Service providers and international processing

Information may be handled by personnel and service providers involved in hosting, email delivery, analytics and support, and disclosed to authorities where legally required. Demo requests are delivered to our team using Amazon Web Services’ Simple Email Service; Google Analytics and, when enabled, LinkedIn also receive information through their tools.

These services may process information outside Türkiye, including in the United States. Applicable transfer requirements and safeguards depend on the service and processing context. Contact us for details relevant to your enquiry or service agreement.

7. Retention and security

Retention depends on the purpose of collection, our relationship with you, contractual obligations and applicable legal requirements. Customer event data is also subject to the relevant service agreement and organiser instructions. Contact us for information about a particular record or a deletion request.

We use technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including controls on access. No internet transmission or storage system can provide an absolute guarantee of security.

8. Your rights

Under applicable law, including Türkiye’s Law No. 6698 (KVKK), you may request information about processing, its purposes and recipients, correction of inaccurate information, and deletion where the legal conditions are met. You may also have rights to object to certain automated decisions and seek compensation for unlawful processing.

Where GDPR applies, rights may also include access, restriction, portability, objection and a complaint to a supervisory authority. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify your identity and will respond under applicable legal requirements.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The date above shows the latest revision.

10. Contact us about privacy

Send privacy questions or requests to the address below, describing the information or service concerned. Please do not include unnecessary identity documents or sensitive details in your initial message.
